visible in Rendering works now as it should. thanks Chris. But is there a flag where i can set the camera visibilty on and off? would be helpfull for lightblocking planes
that shouldnt be visble for camera but casts shadows and so on.

is there any possibility to see the image in the renderview in 100%? when i go for a higher resolution than screen i cant zoom in.

i get a weird double geometry phenomena in octane. So i have two variants lets say the steering wheel. The geometry looks almost the same and the objects sitting on the exact same postion. My Variant Manger sets one of these to "visible off" under the rendering section on the static mesh settings ...

i have major problems with the all octane maya 2018.1 releases and Maya 2019.
Batchrendering is still a lottery if its getting stuck or not. And also it seems that everytime i open a scene the image format is set back to *alias pix* format.
And once i switch back to exr the frame doesnt get written ...

batch rendering doesnt work anymore
did i miss something? just wanted to batch render a couple of frames with the new 2018.1 realase and maya 2019 but it doesnt work anymore!
first fo all - when i start a rendering in viewport once it reached the samples the frame doesnt get written out...what da heck?

we are using octane since version 2.x here as a production renderer. unfortunatly since the very beginning motionblur was a big issue in octane.
It is not possible to get a proper motionblur on like spinning wheels. Even in this new 4.0 release motionblur it still fu#%ed.

that was quick - thanks a lot. "Object layer color" works just fine.
What would be great to have is a second third fourth and so on of that kind. we need lot more masks than 1 rgb.
