Working with HDRI plates

To make it simple, i make an HDRI environment for the HDRI map and a texture environment where i put the plate and turn it to visible environment, but i got a ...

Octane Scatter question
Hi, first, i'll post a photo related to the problem later (i'm at work), but i wanna know how could i "cancel" the normal alignment of the clones in the Octane Scatter tool, like, if i got a valley, i don't want the tree to get 30° orientation from the normal but a straight one to avoid weird ...

Re: How to Clone Things onto a Displaced Surface?
Yes you can, but it's gonna increase polycount and you'll always loose some details, and you had to be careful about the displacement value, etc ... but thanks for the tips.RahiSan wrote:Very cool, did not know about that!
Another solution would be to use the cinema 4d displacement modifier on the plane.

Re: *UPGRADING PC ADVICE NEEDED*
You can just add it, and you can use both for Octane rendering, after, it depends on your PSU wattage

Re: *UPGRADING PC ADVICE NEEDED*
Hi, you should change your gpu, it's very old plus it's a low end, so ... even with a 1060 you should feel a great improvement in your render time, but, by my experience, you should go for gtx 1070 because it got the best perf/price ratio with the 1080Ti.

Re: Persistant error while rendering
I don't try with "low" samples, even if i think 2K samples is kinda low , well without the passes it's the same. And i don't use another gpu resources eater while rendering.
