Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: 2.3 custom viewport control, please help with presets
modo:
rotate = alt+lmb
zoom = alt+ctrl+lmb
pan = alt+shift+lmb
I think this goes for Lightwave as well.
(although i've remapped modo to use the space key instead of alt)

Re: modo > Octane / Export Script v1.05
Sorry, my bad.
Its working now.
I deleted a folder from v1.04 (_modules) that I probably needed?
But is this a problem if someone is going to try the script for the first time with v1.05, just some thoughts?
/Sjogren

Re: modo > Octane / Export Script v1.05
When you get an error, alway go to the event log and give me the details. The event log can be found:
System > Advanced > Event Log
@sjogren
But, i think i can guess what the problem is. Make sure you've replaced the config (fs_OctaneExporter_GUI.CFG) with the new file. I've add a new variable to ...

Re: film back?
what's a film back ?
Radiance
The actual film in the camera, now days the sensor. The size of the media that's capturing the images.
@gk
as far as i know Octane uses the xfov. That's calculated:
xfov = 2*atan(0.5*filmWidth / focallength)
the more unusual fov is the yfov, maybe not that useful ...

Re: modo > Octane / Export Script v1.04
I'm having issues with .obj quality. I find that the file generated when I hit "Render" from the plug-in frequently won't work in Octane (it causes Octane to hang). If I run it through a separate translator like Meshlab the issues can usually be resolved.

Re: Save rendered image as 16 bit PNG or TIFF
I would really like to see full 32bit floating point Open EXR.radiance wrote:Hi,
We will have 16bit openexr output. (tonemapped/normalized and not)
that should be enough for everyone right ?
Radiance
(but it's always goo to have the option to only output 16bit as well)
