Thanks for the quick reply Aoktar, I was troubleshooting a job which had issues, (x-particles) on certain frames.
I thought this message was partially responsible until I started working on blank and basic scenes.
I realised it shows up as soon as you add a material the message is duplicated per ...

Trying to get the bottom of this message in the LOG.
'Tried to access attribute via invalid ID A_COMPATIBILITY_VERSION (438)'

I use a template C4D scene as my startup the way I like to start an octane job.
If I make a blank scene without 'new.c4d' and add a few objects etc and render the message ...

I simply dont have those options to select.
Can do aces cg renderspace but display space ONLY has ACES. Using 1.2.
How are you getting those options? Are you using 1.3 or a different C4d? (I am on 2023.1.3)

Firstly - thanks.
One thing to note that I have found, older scenes with HDRI environments work but don't allow rotation etc. Creating a new HDRI Env and copy pasting the values solves this.
Is there a way to get the same speed of the standalone (with the lightning icon checked) inside C4D? the ...

What's latest Octane? 2021.1.5-R4 or 2022.1-XB2? Did you try to rebuild a setup for it? You can be sure there's a really problem or not without asking it!

Thanks - didnt think to setup OCIO again in the stanalone settings. Thought it was somehow coded into the orbx in some way.
Works perfect now.

C4d to Standalone help please.

I rarely use standalone but wanted to get familiar to use RNDR etc.
In the past i have played a bit and know how to make a new scene - add an env, daylight etc and view via rendertarget etc. So I know its working (tried 21.4 and 22.1). However when exporting now or orbx its just black?

Thanks for the feedback, looking at the old C4d file this came from was able to compare.
Bizarrely it added round edges by adding to local DB (no radius tho), but it was the diffuse values that were all switched to white on import back to C4D. Making them black again makes it look correct.
