Hey there, really promising update!
Any estimations on when the MacOS version will be available?
Thanks in advance

Re: C4D to ORC: resolution issue
I think It's working as expected. See image
Should have mentioned I'm using 4.05-R7 I guess.
I don't even get an export dialog like in your screenshot.
This part is unchanged since long time, same for most of old builds.
yep, as I said the problem was that I was exporting an OCS file and not ...

Re: C4D to ORC: resolution issue
I use orbx eports from C4D in the standalone from time to time and I've found what's important for the resolution to carry over is that the LV screen aspect is locked. Otherwise, it seemed to take the resolution from however large my LV window was stretched. At least that's what I believe was doing ...

C4D to ORC: resolution issue
Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to export an octane scene from C4D to Standalone/ocs to render it with deadline.
However when I'm opening my exported scene inside the Standalone client the resolution differs from the settings I setup in C4D in some random off-aspect ratio way.
When exporting it from ...

Re: C4D layer shader causes freeze
Hey Ahmet, thanks for you swifty reply.
I'm aware it tends to cause crashes when using it inside octane materials but my client freezes 100% even if I'm not doing anything octane related inside c4d.
So for example I'm creating a fresh c4d file, no octane render settings, no octane materials what so ...

C4D layer shader causes freeze
Hey,
I'm having a weird problem that my C4D client freezes as soon as I'm creating a shader inside c4d native layer shader. Even if it's not in a octane shader.
I can create a new file, create a c4d native material, create a layer shader, put what ever shader inside it and the client will freeze ...

Re: Export EXR zip 1
I'm definitely not an expert but this is what I found out (please correct me if I'm wrong):
zip = 16 scanline pack
zips = 1 scanline
However it seems that ticking any of those options (under compression in the octane render passes section) result into a 16 scanline pack EXR.

Export EXR zip 1
Hey there,
I'm currently working on V4.05-R6 and my comp artist wants me to export my renderings in EXR Zip 1 (1 scanline).
In the compression options there is only "Zip" and "Zips" but both show up as Zip 16 (16 scanlines) in nuke.
Any ideas if I'm missing something? Couldn't find anything about ...
