Okay, just an update, we were trying to run the plugin in C4D 2023.
It runs okay but the render settings don't show up when we try to set them.

Awesome!
This release fixes the limit on emissive texture, fixes the flipped disc for area lights, and also fixes some issues with analytic light exposure changing when other lights are disabled.
So far great update

In the texture emission, the lightpass attribute has not been adjusted to accept values higher than 8.

Hi,
sorry, that image was made when only default light mode was available.
Octane lights are differently optimized for AI Lights, depending on the type:

- Default = only Rectangle
- Use primitives = Rectangle, Sphere
- Analytic = Rectangle, Sphere, Disk, Tube

You can use the Default or Primitive ...

Note sure if it has been mentioned, but if you set the area light to a disc shape, the direction of illumination flips to negatize z, instead of positive z.
yes, Disk primitive is only supported by new Analytic light:

The problem is rather dumb, and can be seen as an AE issue, or a Octane issue, and both companies would probably bounce the ball back and forth.

So the issue is that Octane write the data channels with "Lowercase" letters ...

The thing is working with any older version? I don't have AE to check but it looks like working with the other softwares
