Re: GTX_1080 benchmark
Thanks Glimpse! So here is the max I was seemly able to overclock without the bench crashing. Got it up to 923. Not sure how anyone got 1000 or 1100 though.

Re: GTX_1080 benchmark

Re: GTX_1080 benchmark
Haha! I hear that! definitely a great rig for stills however for animation, still need more horsepower.
hey Tom, here is another run. Not sure why plugging in a monitor (this is a remote server) bumped up the score. Closer to what it should be but still not mind blowing with the 1080. 845 not bad ...

Re: GTX_1080 benchmark
Yeah not really asking for sympathy. I know 762 is good, but with 7 1080s, and what I have seen others have... close to 1000-1100 with the exact same amount of cards, not sure if something is wrong with my system to not give a score close to 1000

Re: GTX_1080 benchmark
Any thoughts on why Im only getting 762 with 7 1080s? About 108 per card. Seems pretty weak.

eGPU + El Capitan+ nMP + multiple 980tis
Has anyone successfully installed multiple 980tis or any other 900 series card on El Capitan on a Mac Pro 2013. I have tried a Amfeltec PCI backplane and also tried 2 Akikto Tb2 boxes. One card works fine with Goalque's script, however when I plug in the second card, no Boot.

Re: GTX1080 for production
for some reason the 1080 is not recognized in my rig. I have a single 1080. octane 3.02 says compute model 6.1 and it won't work with it. Any thoughts? Latest drivers from NVIDIA. Windows 10 pro. Also has anyone go it to work on a mac?

Re: Does anyone have external GPU/thunderbolt in Os X El Capitan
Glad to contribute in any little way. ;-)
What I would really like to clarify is the info I've read elsewhere that Yosemite and above can only recognise 2 graphic cards. My Thunderbolt chassis has the space and power for 4 full sized cards, but I've been holding off on adding more due to this ...
