Plastic Bottle issue

Removing the liquid seems to help reduce the black area at the top. Fake shadows are checked.
I am using a 1.21 IOR for the bottle, as ...

Scaling octane power
hey guys,
been using Octane for some time, but this still bothers me.
At this moment I'm using 2x 980 Ti, which gives me 255 points in Octane bench.
I'm planning to add a 1080 Ti, so I'd have about 445 points.
How much would a render time decrease after the update, if it takes 100 seconds to ...

Gradual hair growth
Hello everyone,
I know that is might not be necessarily connected with Octane, but maybe someone can help me.
I have a barell, all I want to acheive is to grow hair gradually, so area at the bottom is covered with 100% hair and the area at the top has no hair.

VDB Cloud Resolution
hello everyone,
how can I improve the resolution of a rendered vdb cloud? It looks like made from squares.

just starting with vdb's, i guess it's an easy solution.

Re: Doubts before getting the license
Thank You for the reply @glimpse. I have made a mistake saying that my card has 2GB memory, it's 4GB and the Octane VR seems to be no longer avaiable to download?
Best regards
