Re: Many 1080tis for sale
It's a price of a brand new RTX 2080 which has equal benchmark score right now and will be much faster when octane will fully support RTX technology. Correct me if I wrong.

Re: RTX and GTX together?
I've got two RTX 2080Ti and no problems with rendering whatsoever. But yes, I cant be 100% sure about mixing RTX with GTX.

As you can see, there's a bunch of mixed GTX and RTX, so it should work fine. Not sure about it when they add full RTX support though.

Re: Pixelated Edges on emission and bright parts
Filter size could also do that as far as I know, nothing else comes to my mind now. If you find the solution, please write about it here.

Re: Pixelated Edges on emission and bright parts
I get pixelated edges if I turn on straight alpha in standart "save" menu, or if I turn off "Keep environment" setting in octane settings, and btw I usually have just pure black environment as "Visible environment", it's a habit at this point.

Re: Material preview not working correctly.
I never did, it seems that I disabled it accidentally, probably were trying to hit "show alpha" and missed.aoktar wrote: So my question is that why did you guys disabled it and forget?
Thanks for the answer anyway, now I see that there might be actually some use to that option.

Re: Material preview not working correctly.
Got the same problem, any solution found? Neither double clicking or Function\Render All Material works.
EDIT: Accidentally found it, in Live Viewer\Options\Material Preview
Why is there even such an option presented? I was so frustrated for over a month when it started.

Rasterize node
Is it possible to add rasterization node for displacement? Using bitmaps only isn't cool

Re: Octane V2 doesn't support 1080 Ti?
*It does not support 1080ti\1080\1070, because they use 8.0 CUDA and Pascal architecture, for all I know Octane supports it only since 3.02 version.*
UPD: it seems I was wrong, sorry.

Re: Quad GPU system
That's a strong point! I never doubted their authority and I actually checked smicha's specs, but I dont need this one exactly cause it's for 2 CPU's, I also checked asrock 2011-3 workstation MB line and it seems that they're all for xeons, and I'm going for core i7, please correct me if I wrong. Or ...
