The machine i'm working on only has 2gb video card and the one in the server room has 4x980ti's. I need to render single frames from time to time.

Yea, the error is from my first post.

It doesn't crash just doesn't render.

The workaround is just render 2 frames instead of just one.

Yea both machines are running the exact versions of cinema and octane.

When i try to render a single frame the error pops up but when i add more than 1 it works.

Hey thanks for the reply. I've tried it with nothing in the scene and without lights or Sky's and i still get that issue.

I'm rendering throug the Team Render in C4d

Single frame render bug

Has anyone else experienced this:

When network rendering, if i try to render a single frame i get an error. but when i do an animation it works fine. From Mac to a Pc both running:

C4d R18.028
Octane 3.03.3

I've been working on a super tight almost macro shot of an arrow. It's supposed to be old iron with worn edges. I'm able to create the texture however when get really close an zoom in the texture doesn't really look good. The edges are kind of blurry and just doesn't feel right. I can't ...

RAM is not added, you have as much RAM as lowest GPU has it available. Each GPU get's same data/file so RAM is not additive.
So RAM usage/free is not gonna show you are both GPUs used or not. By the screengrab they should be used both. Try to test scene with just 1 GPU active and then with both ...

Mulitple GPU not utilized

Hey guys noob here, just ugpraded to 2x 980ti's but it doesn't seem they are being utilized. They are being recognized but i definitely deson't seem to be rendering twice as fast. I'm running a single apple monitor on one card, in this screenshot in Octane

Shouldn't i see somewhere around ~8-12gb ...
