Re: Hello from new Maya Technical Support !!!
I am really sad to be reading this. I left octane back in 2015 after giving it a try and finding it very difficult to get support and when I saw a collegue of mine using it in Cinema 4d and how well it was integrated into cinema I just decided to leave the idea of getting the company I work for to ...

Re: Animated Texture problem
Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. I hope the octane team can sort this problem out as its really a deal breaker for me, I mean I animate texture attributes all the time in pretty much every single project I work on, I am not sure how a 3d animator can work without this functionality in the real ...

Re: maya plugin vs stand alone issues
Do you have any animated Octane shaders, I am having an issue where if I animate an octane shader like say the emission attribute to simulate a light flicker or flash then my scene becomes EXTREMELY laggy to the point where I just convert back to Arnold and carry on as the scene aslo becomes very ...

Animated Texture problem
Hey,
I am experiencing a very strange problem in octane within Maya. I have tried and tested this several times now with the same result each time.
If I place a keyframe on a texture attribute, in this case the emission attribute to simulate a flickering neon light, my scene becomes impossibly ...

Re: Volume Fog Maya
 Hi sachakogel123,
sorry I don't have a direct example in Maya, but please look at this screenshot from Standalone :

Re: Volume Fog Maya
I bumped my thread and you guys removed my comment about volume fog working in 3ds max. I think this is unethical and unprofessional.
I would like some help with my question and I am posting that I have seen the volume fog work in other 3d apps using octane so perhaps I am doing something wrong so ...

Volume Fog Maya
Hi,
I am seriously considering switching to octane from arnold as reebus no longer supports Arnold for Maya however I am just having a few teething problems.
I am trying to figure out how to create volume fog to create god rays or rays coming through a window in octane 3 for Maya.
