My idea was to have a quad gpu system which doesnt need liquid cooling. 4 of 980 ti cards squeezed together become too hot when just air cooled and in consequence start underclocking. so the full potential can only be used when there is a proper cooling installed.

One GPU taking a break?
Hi,
during rendering a 320 frames sequence in C4D I found that some frames took longer to render than others. So I checked the MSI afterburner tool and saw that one card took a break for a few frames but then resumed rendering. Is that usual to happen or might the card be damaged?
