UV's - a better way??

Seems like everytime I use Octane I'm dealing with UV issues via the Modo plugin. Is there a better workflow coming soon to the Modo plugin that will better deal with UV's? I'm almost at the point where the frustration is making me want to stop using Octane.

Octane 3.0.4 can't save default Environment settings...

The option to save Octane's environment settings seems to be gone in the latest version 3.0.4. (screen capture included). Every time I open the Octane plugin it's default is locked at Sun. There used to be a fly-out menu item (>>> arrows beside 'Default')

Just ran a test using HDR Light Studio 5 and didn't run in to any issues with using the HDR it created. Works perfectly with Octane. I'm more convinced now that there's an issue with the new Environment created by SLIK2. Octane doesn't seem to like whatever its doing.

I'm able to manually load an HDR created by SLIK2 into the default Modo environment and everything seems to work perfectly. SLIK2 has the option to render out an HDR and then auto loads it once the render is complete. It loads it into a new environment that includes an environment material. The ...

Mood materials are straight forward for the most part and pretty powerful once you get the hang of things. If you're new to Modo I'd strongly recommend Richard Yot's shading video tutorials. While they're not free they are affordable and will arm you well for working with materials in Modo as well ...
