Hi Juanjgon,
Wondering when the multi-Threaded extraction crashing is going to be fixed? Right now in the latest versions of Octane it's completely un usable since every time I open the IPR window layout crashes. But if I turn off the multi-threaded extraction it doesn't crash anymore.

I found the bug.
I have box, copy the box turn off in scene editor but Octane still render this box.
In the earlier version of Octane there was no problem.
I found the solution to this bug. If you go into the render target node and turn off Instance LW Clones that fixes the issue.

Hmm, well, what LW does is to scale the GUI. What is exactly your problem? Attached you have the IPR scaled 2:1 using this new LW feature that seems fine.

With a 3 year plan we can better amortize support costs for a user owning (and continuing to use) versions beyond V4.
The reason we need to be thoughtful about how this works in future updates , is that there may be more online-only pieces coming in Octane that will not baked in to the engine but ...

The maintenance model is what we intended here for perpetual licenses and by making the 36 month option rent-to-own, that will allow at least one path to owning newer versions without lockout after that time is done.

I was referring to a case when I change the object in Modeler on which instances are distributed and then go back to Layout, instances are updated in viewport but not in IPR, then I have to scrub for IPR to pick it up.
Is this in 2015.3 or 2018. I just tried what you said in 2015.3 and it updates ...

As I remember I always had to scrub a frame to the right and then back one frame for IPR to pick up changes I did to instancers. Same as it is now.
Really that's strange, I don't have to do that in LW 2015.3 I just change the number of instances and they update automatically with no problem ...

Just a suggestion but would you be able to release the 2018 beta version that other users have been using for the time being? It would be better than nothing and it's supposedly pretty stable
