I have the same problem. If i export to alembic with vertexmap enabled in exportdialog the motionblur is working on a clothobject after reimport... but for example a teared cloth as alembic is not possible with motionblur. I have seen in the new test 4 build is support for vector speed motion blur ...

It may be easier to add this support just for animation outputs.
What do you mean with animation output?
What's crash type? Pls always be more informative for crash kind reports. Just making confusions on me.
There is no crash report, most of the times the ram is going higher and higher ...

i'm currently working on a car render job and i'm trying to recreate my workflow from maya (vray, arnold). So, i have many RenderLayer/Takes with material overrides, little Example:
