I'm looking into a few game engines for development,
will Otoy/Octane integration with UE4 be better than Unity?

Or is this just a plugin thing

Thanks in advance

Re: Phantom VR [in dev] Professional VR presentation

sounds interesting.
do you need to use the "Phantom VR viewer" or would the exported files work with other viewer apps such as the otoy one and just a plain 360 viewer such as kolor eyes?

It's always hard to get people to download yet another viewer app for just one presentation

looking forward ...

3x3 tiles is -1, 0, 1
4x4 tiles is -1.5, -0.5, 0.5, 1.5
depending on the image size you can calculate the exact FOV settings

I would do a search on the forum for "lens shift" 3x3 and you should get a ...

great work,
I like the glass materials, a bit of an optical illusion, the pane on the far right looks to have a different opacity then the center panes.

any insight on your settings would be welcome.

In general : what are the advantages / disadvantages of cube ...

Re: Improved batch render script

When I import .exr files into fusion (vfx composting soft) I noticed that the batch render saved .exr files are different (lighter/darker) that files saved tonemapped using the drop down menu. It appears to be gamma related.

or is just an issue with fusion reading file headers or metadata ...
