Octane Viewport Window using Prime?

Is it possible to activate the Octane framebuffer/viewport window when using the Prime version of Octane?

I've noticed that this is not an option in the "Octane Server" rollout in the current Add-on version.

Thanks

Lee

Re: Standalone Autosave?

Thankyou for the suggestion.

I made sure to check the LUA script repository thread before posting (thankyou for creating this thread btw....it is really helpful!) . The incremental save script is helpful for sure. But the main issue is that it is easy to forget to save when highly focused on work ...

Re: Fed up of OTOY teasing features never get released

Otoy are incredibly transparent with their development ambitions...I personally like this approach. I'd rather this than being completely opaque such as games and hardware developer Valve....Half Life 3 anyone?! :D Imagine if they had shared their last 10 years of development with the public.

I'm a ...

Re: Material linker

Looking again..It was actually the ctrl drag to cut nodes that's on your website...but after learning that...I then discovered I could do the same in reverse to connect :)

Re: Material linker

I tried this hoping it would work before I went looking for LUA scripts. It seems it only wants to connect one material to all slots, rather than each material to all slots by name.

I actually discovered the ctrl + drag shortcut, amongst many other useful workflows from your website....it truly is ...

Re: Material linker

Can this be adapted to work with FBX files too?

It only works with OBJ imports at the moment.

Standalone Autosave?

Can we have an autosave feature please??

I just lost a huge amount of work due to a windows blue screen. Considering OCS files are so small it would be very easy to auto save the file frequently without interrupting workflow.

Maybe this already exists as a lua script?

Possible to "Use Light Color" to tint texture?

The "Use Light Color" checkbox in the light tag is a nice feature. However it seems to disable any input texture in the light.

I was hoping this feature would be similar to the "multiply by light color" option in vRay. This basically tints the input textures using the light color from the light.

I ...

Ideas for light positioning In SA

Loving the Standalone workflow. It's the most unique thing about Octane IMO. The only other way to get this workflow with other render engines is to use additional software like Katana which comes with complications and additional expense. Especially for small teams or individual artists ...

Re: Exclude from denoising per material or object

Excellent news!

I did look for a cryptomatte node in the Octane compositor but couldn't find one. Very pleased to find out this is coming soon.

Live node based compositing is such a great feature and is a good solve for this request.

Thankyou.
