Octane materials normal in viewport, black in viewprt render
I'm having an issue where if I try to export a viewport render to preview my scene, the octane materials are appearing black. They render correctly when I use the octane renderer, and they look normal in the viewport itself, but as soon as I use the viewport render option the octane materials render ...

Re: Activation Error "This build is not supported anymore..."
I know this is a pretty old thread, but I've been having the same issue and it's driving me crazy. I don't understand why it is happening. I try to open the materials but the textures aren't linked up, and I can't even relink them because the EMC files are all ORBX. Has anyone figured out a solution ...

Re: A/B Comparison mode changes scene lighting when enabled
Never mind, I updated to version 4.05-R7 and it is working normally now.

A/B Comparison mode changes scene lighting when enabled
I've never seen this happen in other versions, but when I use octane version 4.05-R5 in R21 and turn on the A/B comparison option in the live viewer, the stored "B" image immediately becomes brighter, as if the gamma is turned up. I do not change any lighting myself, it just automatically is ...

Octane Camera Focal Length Won't Go Lower Than 10mm
This has been driving me crazy. I've been trying to render out a shot at a very wide focal length, about 8mm. When I render, the first frame renders at 8, but then every frame after that renders at 10mm. I've done some trial and error for different focal lengths and it seems that below 10mm it ...

Re: Octane Crashing partway through render every time
Ok, after doing a clean install of 419.67, I was able to render the project that was crashing before without issues. Hopefully it stays that way!

Re: Octane Crashing partway through render every time
I may have spoken too soon on this one. One of my renders worked fine, but I am still getting crashing partway through another project file, but this time I seem to be getting an "out of memory" error on one of my cards based on the log and console (see attached). I'll try the older version of the ...

Re: Octane Crashing partway through render every time
I actually updated to 440.97 before I saw your comment and one of the renders that was crashing before seems to be fine now, so hopefully things are all better. Also my 980ti is recognized again. I'll try that other driver if it starts crashing like before. Thanks!

Re: Octane Crashing partway through render every time
I performed a clean installation, but now my 980ti is no longer recognized by my computer, it just sees the 1080ti... After doing a little research it looks like the 980ti may not supported by the Nvidia Studio drivers. Do you have any other ideas? I'll try the most recent game driver 440.97 and see ...
