Some time ago, OTOY created a version of OctaneRender for AMD, but it was necessary the full support from AMD for drivers, than never came, sadly.
ciao,
Beppe

Re: Octane Demo Version in Cinema 4D 2025
I'm having the same issue with the C4D 2025 demo, I can't install it because the download doesn't appear. Do you know if I can use the demo in 2025?
Hi,
if under Mac, please make sure to have disabled the "Open using Rosetta" option in the Info panel of the Cinema 4D.ap.

Re: Hiiiii
Hi Kamada,
c4doctane plugin has its own Node Editor, and you need to create an Octane material for using it.
First of all, please go to Octane Setting/Nodes, and disable the New style option, or material preview doesn't work in node editor:

Re: Octane Demo Version in Cinema 4D 2025
Place the entire Octane plugin folder into the plugins directory, then enable it under Edit > Preferences > Plugins and restart Cinema 4D.
Block Blast
No, please, avoid to do that, or you end up having conflicts.
It is enough to just place the OctaneRender folder in correct "plugins" folder ...

Re: C4D R20 Volume Mesher Motion Blur
Hi,
you need a mesh with proper X, Y, Z Velocity tags.
For example, X-Particles is capable to generate those tags.
Try to set up motion blur in C4D , then export your sim in Alembic, and import it back to see if Velocity tags are generated.

Re: Displacement -> baking texture node causes displacement to disappear on update
Hi,
Current Texture displacement is Voxel based and has several limitations at the moment.
It will be enhanced in upcoming 2026.1 version.
To avoid the limitations, the best option is to use Vertex Displacement, since OctaneRender doesn't have issues with high poly meshes, especially because Vertex ...

Re: Displacement -> baking texture node causes displacement to disappear on update
Hi,
if you switch from Texture to Vertex Displacement, the Baking Texture node is not necessary, and you can do whatever you want with Border mode:

Re: Cinema4D version 2025.1 Build 0104
After using Octane for two months over the course of a year, almost every critical move has ended in a crash or bug in this period.
Today, we needed pyro, so we added a sphere and applied an Octane tag to the pyro output after activating the Live Viewer, plugin crashed.
I don’t know what’s going ...

Hi,
which plugin are you using exactly?
OctaneRender is also available in Free Prime version for Blender, DAZ, Unity, and Unreal Engine:

Free Prime Tier versions are limited to max 1x GPU, without LiveDB and Network Rendering features.

Thanks for sharing the scene.
Light Masking is working as expected, but there is an issue with Live View update, so please go to "room_02" Octane Object Tag, Main tab, and enable the "Force update" option:
