Thank you for reporting this. We will fix it.
The following is a workaround, if you should need it: create an octane_log_flags.txt file in the same folders as octane.dll on the nodes. Inside this file, add just this line: noStatsDontAsk . It should prevent the dialog from trying to show.

Re: Ocio path - Environment variable
Yes it looks to be working but it does not detect it when you try to select a color profile or try to render something.jayroth2020 wrote:According to your screenshot, it appears to be working.
Can you please help.

Ocio path - Environment variable
To make our aces workflow easier we try to use the environment variables that come with OCIO.
It looks like Octane is also supporting this, it recognises the environment variable (see screenshot) but can you can't select a color profile afterwards.
Can somebody please tell us what we are missing ...

Sorry but that was not our question.linograndiotoy wrote:Hi!
If the server is running, Octane is activated simply starting the preview in Blender.

Is this possible?

Blender - Automatic activation
Hi Guys,
Our team started to use Blender, coming from C4D we like to know if we can make the Installation and Activation a bit easier just like C4D.
For C4D we use the unattended authorisation feature, making it very easy to start C4D with Octane even if the machine was off.

Re: Save Color Management settings for a project
Thank you, I going to do some tests with this to see if we can make this work.
The hardest thing will be to detect if a project used OCIO or not.

Re: Save Color Management settings for a project
The OCIO directory can be set up as an environmental variable so that any application on a given computer can access it, or it can be loaded individually into Octane. If config.ocio is set up as an environmental variable, it can be accessed easily by any OCIO-aware application, such as Octane ...

HI Jayroth,jayroth2020 wrote:@jwzegelaar, how do you have your OCIO set up? Do you use the Environmental Variable method, or a local directory?
Currently we have it on a network drive that all workstations can access. How can you work with Environment variables with this? Can that solve anything?
