Re: Modo Plugin Roadmap
OK, I will change the interpolation from "smooth" to "sharp" in the next release.

If I understand correctly, it always gets saved out as "sharp", right? It makes no sense to "cheat" the user with some interpolations that are more eye pleasing at the time, but give improper feedback to what ...

Re: How to "purge" the background image?
If anyone is having this issue, a simple workaround is to make a blank image of the resolution that you're aiming for and load it up as a background image, so the resolution override becomes the resolution that you want.

How to "purge" the background image?
So, I've loaded an image in the viewport>kernel>background. It's got a funky aspect ratio.
Now I can't render anything in a different ratio. Even if I clear the path from the "background filename" box it still renders with the resolution override, no matter what I do. As far as I'm concerned, this ...

Re: OpenVDB --> instant crash
Oh, btw, ran into this, hopefully it might help.. So, basically there's a type of compression that vdb version 3 uses which is not supported by the modo importer, however vdbs without it load fine..

Re: OpenVDB --> instant crash
Confirming the bug, is this fixed yet?
So, you think it will be possible to render vdbs normally (meaning they get rendered as volumes, not converted to geometry) in the plugin?
That'd be great, I need "real" fire in the fireplace not some compositing tricks..

Re: Quixel shader (Octane DB compatibility)
So no one has done this conversion yet huh? I might give it a shot these days, since I really need it..

Re: Quixel SUITE/PBR shader for Octane 2.x
Can anyone help with getting the MBB_PBR_quixel into Modo? I set up my LiveDB, updated it, no such material in the database. Substance PBR is the closest thing.
Will post this on the modo subforum as well.

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 3.00 alpha 1
For anyone out the wanting to use fumeFX 4 VDB's with octane, you need to write "Smoke" where it says density and "FireFuel" where is says temperature in the volume loader. and remember it has to have CAPITAL letter on the "S" and "F", otherwise it doesn't work!!!!
Not gonne tell you how long it ...

Re: Normal map works only when using Octane override
I can confirm it's working even without the override, as of 2.25.
Thanks Paul!
