Volume shader preset

Hey guys,

So i've been trying out some Octane for houdini recently (i've used it for c4d in the past) and I thought it was weird that it was missing a standard volume shader.
Cinema 4D has one build in when you load the VDB importer, so I decided to make one myself, package it as a digital asset ...

Re: Motion-blur on RBD objects?

Ahh, that seems to do the trick.
Thanks a lot!

Motion-blur on RBD objects?

Hey guys,

So i'm playing with octane for houdini, and motion-blur seems to work fine on regularly animated objects, but doesn't do anything on RBD objects.
Tried coming up with some way to get it to work myself, but it's just not doing anything.

Is it not possible, or am I missing something?

Greets!

Thanks a lot man :) Doing a tutorial for the entire project would take quite a lot of time to setup i'm afraid, because of all the different elements.

Floating Islands

Hey guys.
Here is something I recently did as one of my first octane projects.
Let me know what you think :)

Re: Question about having more than 1 video card

Octane needs to cache all your objects into your vram of both cards, so if you use 2 cards it give you the vram ammount of the card with the lowest vram, because it cannot go over that (since both cards need the same data in the vram)
