Does anyone ever tried to create a render boole effect with OSL and Octane?
I have to render some heavy slice effects and render-time boolean might be my only option.

We have exactly the same problem with 3.08.1-R1 and forester.
We had to revert back to 3.08, and now forester works.

I wrote this script a few months age to transfer values from Live Viewer to render settings and vice versa.
I'm not sure it still works but maybe it will help you find a solution.
I'm not a programmer so it could be a mess for someone who is one.

I think you can tweak settings to achieve a cleaner result, but actually we can still notice the presence of artifacts especially in the light at low frequency temperature.

I've tried every possible combination, it has to be some limit in calculations precision.

Post effect in octane is great, and it works almost all the time when combined with beauty pass, but in this situation it's creating those bending steps.
For me it looks like the post effect is calculated in 8 bit color space.
Could this be the reason for this artifacts?
