Do I get to use network rendering with a single license? I know v4 licensing changed but couldn't find any info for this.haze wrote:Not yet, we are stabilising all the other features for the moment, and will get onto it soon.ff7darkcloud wrote:Will V4 XB2 be able to use network rendering?

Re: Hello World: OctaneRender 4 is here
Does my octane license give me an extra node to use for network render with octane render 4?

Re: Fog In Distance
You have to adjust the scattering , absorption and density settings and balance them out. It also helps if you have accurate scale.
Might be better to do it the old way if the medium node is not giving you the results that you want. That way you can pick where you want your atmosphere.

Seems to be a driver issue. Works fine since I updated the driver to most recent.

Octane Bench 3.06 crashes - 980 ti (x2)
Pc crashes every time I run Octane Bench 3.06 with my 980 ti's
I'm pretty sure it's the GPUs. Could it be the NVIDIA drivers? If so which drivers do you recommend I download?
Win 10 64/ 980 ti x2/ i7 6700k / 32 gb
Evga Factory Overclock at around 1400 MHz on load.

Re: OctaneRender 3 for Modo [TEST and STABLE]
Bump maps seem to be "weaker" than normal maps. Bump maps would lose a lot of detail yet Normals show pretty much everything correctly.

Re: Octane Environment Atmosphere?
I have to agree. I am always having great difficulty achieving the kind of diminishing fog more easily attained in other programs. I know it can be done in Octane because I have seen such renders posted in the forums. But I simply can not seem to attain the degree of control I'd like.

Octane Environment Atmosphere?
How do I create proper atmosphere in Octane for a landscape? Octane seems to create a blanket over the entire scene...I also want the color to get more blue as it goes further into the distance.
