I've an issue with C4D Plugin version 3.06.
On my notebook Asus N551j (Win 8.1) with GTX860M, i work with Octane plugin version 3.05.3 and everything run properly. (the geforce driver in use is: 359.12)
Today i tried the new plugin version 3.06 and Octane can't find any GPU available.
Have anyone ...

Re: Version 3.06
I really love that Resolution scale option in the LV. Any chance that could be changed into a slider?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Does amfeltec splitter/cluster need high end MB?
I've been having the same question for a year now. Only stumbled upon this yesterday:
Scene compilation is done to 100% on the CPU - the GPUs are for rendering only. That means, PCIe speeds are not relevant here. Of course, the time until the first image appears includes the, scene upload time ...

Re: more number of graphics cards, or less but more powerful?
Regarding of the amount of GB and CUDA cores, I have a big question about how the GPU render works: I understant that when you render with Octane, all the graphic card works like one? So with x4 1070 I will have 32 GB vram, isn't it? and 1920x4 CUDA cores? So technically (and cheaper) is it better ...

Re: Version 3.04.5-R2 (05.12.2016) - Latest stable
I just installed the R2 update and it seems like the "Emission" tab has disappeared from the material?
(In the attributes manager, it's still there in the node editor)
Am I the only one with this problem?

Hi Ahmet,
I can't find how to utilise the new Vertex map support either, what is the intended workflow for this?
I've tried with just a C4D vertex map shader but that doesn't work (shown below):

Hi Aoktar,
The zoom option looks great!
In the same vibe,
Is there a way to implement a global scale/zoom, just like Arnold?
scale.jpg
I feel this would save people a lot of time. Locking the resolution, but still being able to zoom to 200%.
Anyway, great job so far.
I'll not add global ...

Can you please make it so that when you select an ImageTexture node in the Node Editor, it jumps to the "Shader" tab instead of the (useless) "User Data" tab?
Also, it would be lovely if we could label the Nodes! I think both have been suggested by fuchsundvogel already.
Thanks in advance!
