really strange, I am using flip fluids with octane and have never seen this. Isn't there some rogue keyframe in your node editor?

edit: Some of the frames are rendering black, i've seen this with octane 4 version, which one are you using?

RTX support in octane for blender?

Hi, what is the current state of RTX support in blender octane?

- will the blender octane edition start at all if I have rtx card as my primary card? (I read after release that blender was crashing with rtx?)
- can I use it for rendering? (Obviously without the RT cores).

Anyone has some experience?

I feel like you are not looking at the composite image but simply the results of the denoiser:

weird artifacts on far away surfaces

Hi, I have a model of a building, I set up basic materials with diffuse shader with diffuse and bump map. However when I zoom away I see some strange artifacts.

This is a close up of the ceiling:

ok I think I got it. You have to enable the render passes in Render Layer tab, specifcally the (Beauty?) Denoiser. Then go into node editor, switch to render compositing perspective and pull out the OctDenoiserBeauty. Here is a pic:

Octane 4 spectral denoiser

Hi, I am testing the Octane 4 build, but I can't seem to get the spectral denoiser to work. I can't see any noticeable difference if it's on or off. Right now I activated the denoiser in the camera imager settings (the imager itself is enabled as well):

Running Octane 3 and 4?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to have both the latest stable Octane and the new Octane 4 version installed? I assume the blender version itself is not an issue but what about the octane server etc. ?

yes, attached are the other settings. I also tested if the parallax distance is maybe set to focus distance, but it is not so.

Hi, I was wondering about some settings for the stereoscopy renders. I noticed that the 'Stereo mode' option is greyed out, is there some other setting that need to be changed for this to be enabled? Or is this a bug? Also if 'off-axis' stereo mode is enabled, is there some way to set the zero ...
