How to add snow to geometry with MixTexture & FallOffmap ?

Hi,
So I'm trying to figure out a way to add snow or sand with mixtexture and a fall off map.
It seems to work on a perfectly symetric object, such as a sphere but when I use another geometry (made in 3Dcoat) it doesn't seems to work quite well.

Re: Cinema 4D version 2020.1-XB1-Test2 (EXPERIMENTAL) 10.12.2019

After testing lots of different scene, I can safely note that the RTX speed boost is pretty good in most scene. This + Multithreading material are great options to save time, it's very promising.
The only case where I didn't got any speed boost with RTX is when there is fog. As soon as there is a ...

Do you have any workaround for dirt node ?
I know this version isn't supposed to be used for production but I'm getting a really nice speed boost + stability and need to render some animation with dirt-ish textures
It's an issue with RTX mode, disable it. Thanks for feedbacks, i wish to hear if ...

LOVE The multithreading material. really speed up the workflow.
Can't fooking wait for a stable version of the new plugin, seems promising so far.

(Dirt node doesn't work here)

Multithreading material? I went through all the release briefs but I don't remember reading about this. May I kindly ...

I'm experiencing a lots of "render failure" with the 441.28 Drivers (not game-ready one).
What are the driver that are the most stable out there ? It crash even if I just resize the live viewer version

Re: X-Particles Motion Blur

If you want to avoid crash with Particles / OctaneObject Tag + Motion blur you need to add XP-Cache to your system and build a cache.
I don't even need to Alembic it. Just cache it and motion blur will happen without any crash (most of the time)

Re: OctaneRender™ 2020.1 XB1

I do get RTX speed when I'm doing a full new scene from scratch in the Standalone 2020.
But when I import an ORBX, it's at the same speed and sometimes even slower. Is this known ?

I import ORBX from 2019.1.4 (C4D) -> 2020
