I don't get it. I purchased the v3 upgrades - standalone + plugin, - and I can't find them in the download section. Am I missing something? The latest version in the download section are 2.25.

Retopology is one way and then using a normal map extracted from the high res model in order to fake the detail. However, some scenes are in fact really big; I'm not talking about single models. Just out of interested, can I enable from within the Octane v3 C4D plugin the .exr compositing function or is that restricted to the standalone?

Apparently it's a lack of memory issue. The threshold my system can handle is about half of the original resolution I intended to do. For the record, I am using 2 x GTX 780 4 GB each.

I have a issue when rendering a multi pass with Octane. I need to render a 8000 x 5000 px image and it is all rendering fine when I render just the beauty. But as soon as I enable the render passes, the render comes out black. Any ideas how to solve this issue? I have attached my render ...

Thanks, but it wasn't that. I figured out what it is, it was the displacement map on the terrain. When I removed it, shadows appeared again. However, because the terrain has been Zremeshed it has these wierd artifacts that only go away either when the terrain is made very small or when there is ...
