ok, I'll try your test project asap.

i exported in one batch stadard image+ layer mask and in a second way the AO pass (after activate my plane visibility to have the shadows on the plane)

when I export the AO pass with HDRI environment tag even with alpha layer option, the result ihave is good ...

thanks for your help,

I just want to have a AO pass alone with a no color translucent (alpha layer) in the sky part.

previously I made a standart render + layer mask.

I want to compile the 3 passes + an image sequence in after effects.

export AO layer / HDRI backround problem

Hi guys,

I try to export an AO layer using pass in octane render with c4d.

I've an oject + a plane + an hdri environment.

problem is even if i active "alpha layer" in direc tlignhting setings, my AO pass shows a black area (it's the sky of hdri map) and it's not translucent as i want.


It work ...

hi, they gave me an ealmail adress to register the beta v2 suite but it's totally impossible to register even in administrator rights and firewall disabled."server connection time out". do you have an ideao for that ?

another thing, i made my first perso trial with a mesh and color ID map etc, the ...

I'm trying the v2 beta test but I didn't known the v1.8 so I didn't see the main diffferences....

I'm a newbee in this software.

Hi,

I have the v2 beta quixel suite installed now.

I found the "bake" menu in c4d, I've just to learn how to use it.

what's exactly in c4d the difference of high definition mesh and low definition mesh ?
to create the .obj mesh, is it obligatory to use UV mapping to get a flat image ?
