Hey everybody,
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question and I'm sure it's been asked before, but I can't figure it out by myself. My apologies.
I'm currently on a V4 license and looking at what it would cost to upgrade to the latest Octane.
When looking at Maintenance Upgrade ...

Re: Render fur in Octane
Oh okay, do you think it will eventually be supported in the future?

Render fur in Octane
How can I get fur to render in Octane. Adding hair seems to work perfectly but adding the new fur feature doesn't seem to be recognized by Octane. Is there a working solution to this?
Best,
Chris

pixels have jagged/ridged edges
Hi, I'm running into a problem I have never seen before.
I'm making a render with neon tubes. so there are 2 glass tubes wrapped around a blackbody emission tube. However for some reason the pixel-edges along alot of tubes are very slightly jagged.
Along the red line you can see it the most.

Random shader on Mograph Cloner
Hi, I've tried setting up the random shader many times with mograph cloner or seperate objects, it always provides just one color for all objects, it's a random color but they're all the same. I only can get it to work when I put the objects under a octane scatter.

Is there anything you can do about Octane geometry struggle?
I've got a MSI GeForce GTX 960 GAMING 4G graphics card, and when I'm using the forester plugin I reaaalllly have to yank down all the segments and delete several trees and do some insane scene optimization and then I still have to pray it works out.
Is there anything I can do about it? I wish it ...

Alpha channel render renders black?
ticking on the alpha channel gives me a transparante typical checkerboard background in the live preview render, but as soon as I render it out to the picture viewer it all gets a black non transparant background.
I've tried googling but I dind't find anyone running into a similar problem..

Don't tile displacement on mesh?
Hello,
I have a logo that I want to displace on a mesh, but I can't figure out how to stop it from tiling? Normally I'd uncheck 'tiling' in the material options but it doesn't affect it at all.
