i already had a pretty good look thru those files and i dont think this technique is covered there. However the old technique actually does work in octane3. I achieved this effect by using shatter deformer with tiny settings, placing my object inside fracture and using random effector ...

In the past i use a work around in c4d that includes matrix object shatter deformer and random effector with colour mode on. result is one mesh with randomly coloured polygons.
Can i achieve this with octane?

I rebooted my system and the nodes and re rendered the same section and looks like it's working!!!!!!!!!....very confused? but happy.

using octane daemon. The network rendering is working fine except animated textures. I am using three extra nodes with two 980Ti's in each
