I tried to create the problem again- but now all works perfect.

Maybe this problem is not new or i´m the only one, but if i assign a material to an object that´s part of a layer with sublayers and the objects from the main and the sublayer are grouped - octane doesn´t show the material in the render view. Refreshing the viewport or restarting octane didn´t fix ...
