I would like to try Pyro as an alternative for TFD in C4D. When rendering in Octane, the Pyro flame image is significantly worse than TFD.
Also, the flame image in the viewport looks significantly better than the flame image after Octane rendering.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X
128 GB RAM
RTX 4090

Maybe this is helpful

With the file with approx. 2,700 particles everything still works out

The system crashes at this file with about 24,000 particles.
