Re: Multiple transparent materials per object
This still does not work in the latest version : OctaneRender™ for Blender 2020.2.3 - 23.5 [STABLE]
I have a bottle that has a displacement shader on the outside, and another shader that has no displacement applied to the polygons on the inside.

Re: Nested Dielectrics Blender
I found the setting for nested dielectrics. It seems that when you have two different specular shaders, one inside of another one, that it does not render correctly.
I've noticed there is another forum post that mentions this problem.

Nested Dielectrics Blender
Hello!
I have downloaded the latest stable version (OctaneRender™ for Blender 2020.2.3 - 23.5 [STABLE]) and I am curious where the nested dielectric checkbox is located?
In other applications, such as Cinema 4D, it appears in the Octane Render Settings panel.
Thank you!
Best,
-Brandon Clements

Unity HDRP and Octane Render
Hello everyone!
I was curious to test Octane with a HDRP scene inside of Unity. Is there going to be support to translate these materials into Octane? As well as the env and lighting?
Cheers!
Best,
-Brandon Clements

Re: No Light Component Found
Adding to the light component situation:
It seems that Octane does not like to grab my lights from my scene. If I create a new light, and not add the light component, that seems way more successful. Not sure if that is the intention...

No Light Component Found
Hello all!
I have had success rendering our Unity project with Octane, but the PBR Unity Light Component script is telling me "No Light Component Found".
Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thank you!

Re: Hard Crash With 8K Textures in C4D Octane Ver 3.02-R1
Thank you, Studiolocal!
I will try and use tiff from now on per yours and others recommendations!
Also went back to version 3.01.1-R2 of octane and plugin and everything is working great.
(Got rid of that displacement and went to 4k

Okay without the displacement we are good!
The only thing is the material preview not showing any type of image format. Thank you for taking the time to help!
