Hi Jim,
This difference is normal. As you may already know, the amount of gpu work required to render an animation can change from frame to frame. In your case it sounds like your seconds batch of frames simply took less time to render than your first batch.

I am going to reach out to one of my colleagues to see if they can weigh in on what might be causing your issue. Looks like your scenes were uploaded through your plugin. Have you tested your scene in the Standalone Edition?

Thanks for getting back to me. Looks like your jobs were rendered in version 3.07. Could you try running one of your jobs in version 3.06.4 to see if the problem persists? You can do so by creating a job -> Advanced Options -> Octane Version.
