Works now with the Production Build only .348

What maximum Daily Build Version may I safely use with Octane 2019? Renderman 23 has no problems with the Daily Builds.

Hi there, just watched the awesome Houdini 18 Launch presentation and noticed some many mayor renderers get to be integrated into Solaris.
H18 will be released in late 2019, can we expect a timely integration of Octane?

I am trying to recreate the Screws scene from the Demosuite.
What is the equivalent to Octanes standalone XYZ to UVW Projection in Houdini? I can't 100% recreate the same effect of the noise-o-mat in Houdini.

Hi, took me some investigation to find a way how to get rid of the nice magenta rendering ;)

I don't know if this is the only way or if I can delete any former materials directly, but I added a material node under the file import node and for the group I entered @shop_materialpath=="/mat/floor" as ...

No problem, found it and works just fine. I'm pretty sure I will jump in again as the implementation in Houdini is very nice as far as I can say right now.
