ABC defer loading for orbx export?
Hi is it possible to tell the orbX export to simply pass an ABC path instead of re-caching the geometry? We're working with a lot of fluids and procedural geometry that is a pain in the butt to cache then re-cache when we export our animated orbX caches for rendering on our farm.

Re: OctaneRender 2020.1 for Houdini Production build 2020.1.5.3
Hey Juanjo are you aware of any memory issues with 2020.1.5.2? A scene that fails to render with both OOC on and off seems to render just fine in 2020.1.5 standalone. The same houdini session that fails to render, outputs a working orbx file that immediately works without closing houdini or any ...

Re: HQueue hquser crashing
These are headless nodes. Maybe it has to do with that cuda download thing. Where does it save that file on linux?

HQueue hquser crashing
Hey,
Trying to figure out why octane crashes when launched via hqueue, hython or hscript as the "hquser" username.
[hquser@weeWhammy hfs18.0]$ cd /opt/hfs18.0 && source houdini_setup
The Houdini 18.0.597 environment has been initialized.

Re: Octane Hydra | Solaris plug-in beta II
Is it possible to get a LINUX build of this? We're rendering an entire TV show with Houdini Octane and this would be really amazing to try out.
Hi Ptunstall,
Thank you for the post.
