Flamingo title sequence
Hey guys here's a personal project I've been working on for a while born of my love for old Las Vegas and it's seedy origins. It's a mock title sequence for a non-existent show about Bugsy Siegel, Lucky Luciano and the founding of the Flamingo hotel and Casino.

Re: Excluding certain lights from fog volume?
I managed to get around the problem in this specific instance by splitting my fog volume into two half-sized volumes and positioning them on either side of the problem lights, with a gap down the middle.

Excluding certain lights from fog volume?
Hey Can anyone advise me whether it's possible to exclude certain lights from a volume with octane c4d?
I've tried setting the lights to, say, "light ID pass: 6", then adding an octane object tag to the volume and unchecking light pass mask 6, but it doesn't seem to work.
I run into situations ...

Hey Aoktar, can I possibly request a slight UI change with the emission channel?
A lot of the time when I mean to click on the texture input shader/button, I accidentally miss it and click the "blackbody emission" or "texture emission" buttons instead because they're so close.

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone 3.08 TEST 6 [latest 3.xx]
I've had to use Redshift for the last few month (just because the company I'm working for uses it), and I actually really hate using it compared to octane.
The one main selling point that I've heard from people is that Octane is really unstable, while redshift is rock solid and memory efficient.

Re: GPU prices are insane. Maybe time for Octane to run on CPU
Gpu prices now are eye watering. However CPU prices are reasonable and thanks to core wars between AMD & Intel the core counts are going up. Octane team must seriously consider enabling CPU rendering. Otherwise small users like me who cant afford expensive Gpus may have to look elsewhere.

Render multiple frames simultaneously
Hey, so I've been building out my workstation with more GPUs, and learning how to optimize octane renders more and more, to the point where often I'll be rendering out some simple elements, and they'll be rendering in about 1-2 seconds per frame.
But then I'm sometimes running into a bit of a ...
