Re: ORBX Viewer

OMP scripting and JSON hasn't changed much since the earlier samples from OMP 2.0. We don't recommend going full Lua beyond the simple templates. Could you share a bit more about your project?

It is a very simple navigation project with 14 cubes.
This is what I would like:

1. A comprehensive ...

Re: multi UVW map channels

Gave up using Octane for most of my projects.
I'm using Blender Cycles:
- Free as a bird
- Little less quality
- Slower (but lots of options to trick it)
- Much more control

No matter how Karba is efficient and a good guy, but this one man only developmant team is not a solid ground for investing in a expensive (software+hardwere) render pipeline.

It's only me, or Max viewport is still very slow with Octane?

Re: OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v1.11c[Test] UPDATED(14March)

Memory problem.

I have 2 GTX 590, what gives me 1,5Gb VRAM to Octane, and near 1,1Gb real free (Max uses 400Mb)...

Octane for Max allows me to activate among 4 GPUs. But the more GPU I activate, the less memory I get.

With my 4 GPUs, Octane reports only 700Mb of VRAM...

Same problem in similar ...

Light visibility affects glossy rays

How can we make a light source not visible to render, but still lit the scene (difuse materials) and be reflected without any loss (glossy materials)?

By now, visible parameters in Octane Lights and opacity parameters in emmiters materials lowers reflections in glossy surfaces.

Solutions: Octane ...
