Thank you..I found v3 instalations in download section for standalone and c4d....so I unninstal my old octane, run octane 3 setup and it works

Hi guys...I'm currently using octane C4D plugin v2.23, but few days ago, I upgrade my standalone and C4D plugin to v.3,
So what am I supposed to do next to actually use this new verison?...on my otoy profile is allready listed as v.3..but when I start C4D and run octane its still v.2.23..please help ...

Hi, I´m triing to render out my image in RPF format within C4D R16, because I would like to add a DOF in AE trough 3D channel extract effect, but I only get a black or white screen, when I´m triing to adjust the Z-depth, even with the smallest value like "0,1".

So my question is..am I doing ...

I'm totally agree with you, all the little details will make it more realistic. About the DOF, somehow I just cant figure out how it exactly works, I'm use to use focus distance from camera, but this is probably works only for c4D ...

I just wanna let you know, the problem was solved right after I switch GPU with more memory...so right now I'm using GTX 960 4GB and everything works.

omg I really like these one click solutions, I was planning to reinstall Octane..thanks ChrisMills and sorry to bepeg4d for my bad knowledge

thanks for the script bepeg4d, I think this is more user friendly.
But another problem appeared, right after I run the script, the Sun expression tag, stoped working, it just doesnt react on any action I make, like time change or Latitude etc...sun stay in the same possition.
