workflow enhancement regarding lights

As octane isnt build into the viewport and serves a s a standalone view it is important that the users have realtime feedback on shadows working with the Nitrous viewport drivers.
It is practical to light in Nitrous where they model and shade too.
Adding Octane lights doesnt seem to be supported and ...

Im too busy to go into dev mode anyways, Ill hold my purchase untill stuff moves, transforms and animates on the fly.

Are you saying that the scene has to be translated between all frames?
So if the scene translation takes 5 minutes pr frame and you render 100 frames you have to add 500 minutes to the render time?
This has to be false, confirm or deny

yes,
but get a faster gfx card, thats the only real bottleneck regarding octane render speed.
4xx series or 5xx series, if you have a limited budget then cut down on system mem or something else.
The card matters.
Also the more memory ( memory on the gfx card ) the better, 1gb is fine on the card ...

Good work around to bypass the export is to put in the xyz values for both camera and its target.
Get the values from maya and convert them in octane so it matches.
But you need to be around to input the numbers after each frame. Very easy, works all the time.

I know.
I was just manning some doubts in the ground that could spring up.
Complelty unrelated to your angle as you have no problem looking at the animation.
Was also directed to Elvis and who ever would like to write something like that again.
