Sweet spot in my eyes would be around 7-8 cards per system..You can seat them inside propper motherboard or use GPU splitter, Clsuters or other gear in order to be able to hook them

Problem Solved--it was a rigging issue--not a referencing or octane issue. Sorry!

When I Import Goblin_Complete into Shot_5, the eyes render, so it has something to do with the referencing and my scene, though I haven't been able to find the reason. Fortunately, I'll be able to continue working on the shot by importing rather than referencing.

Mesh not rendering when referenced

Hi,
I have a scene with 15 meshes called “Goblin_Complete” that renders fine. When I reference “Goblin_Complete” into a scene called “Shot_5,” everything but the eyes render. Here are some specs:

Windows 10
Maya 2016 sp2
OctaneRender_for_Maya_2.24.1_-_7.11
OctaneRender _2_24_win64

Hi Wenneker,
My concern is that a batch render at these settings takes three hours and the IPR render takes about 25 seconds. Playblasting the octane camera view takes about 25 seconds. The GPU is running about 47%. I’m so new to GPU rendering that I’m still trying to get my head around the workflow ...
