So you mean that my V4 license is now useless and the simplest way to render my ocs-files is to rent a OctaneRender Studio Subscriptions ??
Thats sad.

Re: Will the RTX 3080 work in Octane 4.05-R7?
just got a RTX 3090 and Octane 4.05 is not working.
It shows me in the preference:
CUDA version: 11.10
Device: Gefroce RTX 3090 (compute model 8.6)
But at the bottom of the Viewport stands in red "no CUDA GPUs"
How can I now render my old Standalone files?

Re: OctaneRender™ Standalone v1.0 RC 1 — Download here
stupid question but is there an option to disabe the envoriment-lightning if i only want use mesh-emitter?
should it not give a speedboost without env-light??
note that if i have a closed room with an mesh emitter, i can see less noise when i change from daylight to texture envoriment!

Re: bug in deep channel kernel
hi
in the new bet303 release the fireflies are gone but now in the other channels, the edges are hard aliased.
if i enable alphachannel all is fine
-> in the previous release the edges were antialiased (smooth)
-> is this a new bug or wanted?

bug in deep channel kernel
hi
in version 1.0 beta 3.01 an all before, ther is a bug in in the deep channel kernel..
if i go to position or Z deep there will be white/black pixel in the image..
with more rendertime, there will come more fault pixels in the image...
i also tried cuda 3 and cuda 4 driver

Re: Viewport navigation still sucks... sorry.
I miss being able to rotate de camera without moving its position, sort of like moving the target point around, in an interactive way... and mostly, being able to tell where the target point is, since there is no feedback at all. Octane in its plugin form just pwns standalone in this aspect; RS ...
