It is in our planning down the line, but there are otherfeatures we want to implement first.
What are you looking to do with octane light baking that you cannot do with the unreal lightbaker?

Right now there does exist an open source GPU light baker for Unreal and it does an admirable job but it ...

Thanks for the update Chris, Octane for Unreal is coming along very nicely.

Do you have a general idea when the landscape will be supported? That is really the only thing keeping me from using Octane for Unreal in production right now.

Landscape is the next major feature on the list after ORBX ...

It looks like Quixel megascan materials use PerInstancedRandom in their instanced and foliage materials.
This is not supported by the plugin at the moment. Ill check if I can add it.

Non-foliage materials seem to work well on my side.

Megascans materials not rendering properly

I uploaded some megascans materials to Unreal 4.22.3 via the Unreal Bridge Live link and wanted to see how they render in Octane. It looks like the normal and opacity is rendering correctly but the diffuse/albedo and the translucency are not.

Thanks, UE 4.22.3 has been nothing but hot garbage for me so I'm hoping that the stabiliity improvements in 4.23 pay off.

This is quite an odd issue.

Two questions:
- Do you have some specific unreal editor rendering settings that we might need to be aware of?
- Do you have the same issue in 2019.1. RC2 standalone?

Additionally, we have a new build out that has 2019.1.RC4. You might want to try if this has the same ...
