I'm having some problems using the matte shadow function for diffuse material for a plane, it doesn't seems to be rendering at all. Went back to 3.06 and same scene works fine.
Could you have a look at it?

do you know if there's anything similar to blender's node wrangler option in octane c4d?
(It's a hotkey option that connects just the currently selected shader network to the object, so it's easier to see/edit noises..etc)

Actually I didn't mind it at all.
I was aware that the wood is far from realistic, but i kinda liked the wet look of it because I liked the overall mood.
Interesting, that the bump is a normal map, created from the original texture..after the comment of Elvis I made another simple black&white bump ...
