I'm using a megascan 8k x 8k on a sphere that has been unwrapped and has 200 polygons. I'm still getting the polygons bleeding through for some reason. The octane displacement node is on 4k. I'm not sure whats going on here.
side question does it really have to be UV unwrapped?

non Xparticle Emitter - Live Viewer not matching Render
I have a standard emitter with a tracer object under a sweep nurb. It shows in the Live Viewer, but the best I can get out of my render is 1 particle. I have found a lot of sub topics about Xparticles but can't find this solution. Thanks.

Is it really the case that octane needs the hair in c4d to generate the geometry? The preview looks great with the Generate > type set to none. Then when I try to render it the hair disappears. Even when I change the Hair > Generate > type to none it looks different. Please help. Thanks.
