Hi guys,
Im about to build a workstation with 2x 2080ti's.
Than the question came up if I should bridge the two GPU's with an NV Link...what is the adventage besides it doubles the VRAM?
Do you have an idea if this could be helpful with other 3d/design related software, such as the C4D, Redshift ...

Re: Post effects causing seams in 360 spherical animation
Ciao Beppe,
thx for the quick reply!
Too bad that this isnt possible....but good to know that the post effects only need a few samples..
Thanks a lot!
Best, Remo

Post effects causing seams in 360 spherical animation
Hi guys,
I was wondering if there is a clean way to avoid the seams occurring when rendering post effects (I think its the bloom) onto 360degree spherical/panoramic animations for youtube for example.
Is there something like 360-post effects?
Thanks in advance!
Best, Remo

Seams after baking textures
Hi guys,
I just quickly tried out how to bake light maps and I feel like there is no way to kill the appearing seams (since up the "padding" to the max of 16 doesnt help...)
Or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Version 3.06.1 - Latest stable
Hey there!
Thanks a lot for the awesome updates!
Ive been testing this version and the new features for some days!
It feels pretty stable (at least in my test scenes..;) and some older production scenes).
Anyway....recently I noticed a bug by using the new filtering options in the displacement node ...

Suggestions to Stereo 3d workflow?
Hi guys,
I was wondering if you could share you experiences regarding to stereo 3d workflows inside of c4d/octane.
Since I have never worked with it before, I would appreciate every hint and link to proper explanations
Thanks in advance!

How can I stop lights position effecting Position Pass?
Hey guys,
the Position Pass kind of confuses me. I just realized that even my lights positions effect my position pass.
So If I have a light really far away, the PosPass resolution (gradient) on my object decreases accordingly.....!
I even tried to put the lights on a separat renderlayer, but its ...

Re: Multishader on Octane Scatter
Too bad..aoktar wrote:Cloner with render_instances and scatter object, both are resulting same structures at end. Only randomcolor can work with that not any mograph things.

But thanks a lot for the really quick answer!

Multishader on Octane Scatter
Hi guys,
is there a way to get the multishader running with the octane scatter object? Or is there a workaround/proper way to achieve the same result?
It even just works with render instances checked off (on the cloner), so my scene gets really heavy..
Thanks a lot,
cheers, Remo
