Re: Octane 2025.4 for Cinema4D - v1.7.2
When scaling a project, would it be possible to have the Bump Height in materials be scaled automatically as well? For example, if I CTRL+D scale the project from 1 to 10, could we multiply the Bump Height in all Materials by 10? This might prevent them from changing their appearance in that ...

Re: Cinema4D version 2025.3 - v1.7.0
Sorry, can you share the new scene?
The issue is not totally clear.
ciao,
Beppe
Sure, see attachment. Only difference is a cube with a default specular material. If you open this in Cinema 2026 the refraction inside the cube is way too bright, while 2025 looks normal.
I do not think this ...

Re: Has something changed in the ACES workflow in the 2025 octane/c4d versions? Nothing seems to work
I just tried the "normal" workflow using the latest plugin build 1.7.2 and AE 2025 and it seems to hold up fine.
I am not using the linear legacy sRGB color management here, because I don't mind the c4d color picker not looking right but otherwise it should work fine

Re: Denoiser node editor chaos
Hi,
Thanks for raising this issue, we will look into it for one of the next releases.
By the way, you do not need to have the denoiser node in there multiple times, you can hook the same denoiser node up to multiple nodes

Re: Cinema4D for Octane 2026 Alpha 3 - v1.7.1
Can confirm the Displacement Bug.
Whenever I launch this scene in C4D 2026.0 + Octane 2026 Alpha 3 - v1.7.1 which features ground material with displacement it crashes in like 2 seconds. Or it starts, shows completely messed up texture and then crashes. Same thing happens with our other scenes ...

Re: Cinema4D version 2025.2.3 - v1.7.0
I narrowed it down! It's definitely Octane because it doesn't happen in the standard renderer.
The leak in my project is caused by a spline/sweep object with a lot of points. Every frame rendered, the ram doesn't get flushed or something and the ram fills up more. I can fill up my ram withing a ...
