I noticed there is a PR2 plugin release in the downloads section. Yahoo!! Any details posted on the changes?

Thanks!

In Light Tag, activate "use primitives" ?

I have seen this tip a few times...

In Light Tag, activate "use primitives" parameter and use AI lights in kernel

What is "use primitives"? I cant find it in the documentation. By the way, Cinema's docs are at 2019.1. Is there a more up to date version somewhere?

thanks
Maybe about osx version and resolution. Try with different desktop resolution for test
osx version is 10.13.6. It does work fine at full pixel resolution of 5120x2880. All other resolutions have the strange screen redraw.

Wish I could work at 5k. Talk about screen real estate ...

ciao Beppe
I've never really used standalone before. Probably should get to know it a bit just in case. Thanks!

Re: NEW: Octane X - is finally here! [MEGA FAQ THREAD]

It's always been my understanding that standalone needed to be installed for the plugin to work (c4d). Seems not to be the case with Octane X?

Re: Stick Texture for Octane noises using XYZ to UVW projection?

Finally got it! I was having troubles at first because I had my texture tag (pre bake) set to flat. It was easier to get a top to bottom blending I was after. I was hoping I could bake the flat projection onto my UV map. That didn't work of course. Anyway, with a bit of re-arranging of my UV islands ...

Re: Stick Texture for Octane noises using XYZ to UVW projection?

I need to give that another try. My UVs have seams where I dont want them and I can't seem to find away around that. Is it possible to bake a 3D noise texture onto a less then perfect UV map in a seamless way? That would be awesome but I wasn't successful the first time I tried. Haven't done much ...
