In general, I would expect Baking to be used for things like game asset creation, so its not something which I would think would be a popular feature of the OctaneRender for Rhino plugin - so the workflow at the moment is quite simplistic.

Hi,
today I tested the new baking feature. Nice to see baking at Rhino, now we have two engines with baking support. From AIR I know some additional functions like:
* bake all scene objects (to hdd)
* bake selected objects (to hdd)
* load baked texture (all/selected object) for Rhino display ...

could you change the options so that live update isn't needed to be enabled for all the other options like visibility? Bump intensity - old problem:

Workaround could be to work with a scaled scene, for example that max bump multiplier 1 means 1m and not 1mm.

The live output of HDRLS is quite small and quick saved to the disk. I tested it with VfR and HDRLS - less than one second to update the HDR environment. So, maybe the Rhino event watcher is to slow and needs to be optimized. At Vray for Rhino it works fine.

The Octane plugin is enabled at the plugin list, but not the current render. Important step: choose Rhino renderer, disable the Octane UI at the properties tab, close Rhino and restart (Also for this test I disabled the Vray plugin before, so it's not loaded during the crash. Paul, please add an option to disable the message, that Octane needs to be enabled to get the right material preview. Please add a little flag option at the material info message like "never show this message again".
